Introduction to ATRAD
The study of weather and climate is of concern to everyone. Weather forecasting is becoming increasingly important in many areas, ranging from air-traffic control to pollution monitoring to artillery support.
The study of climate change, too, is increasingly important and relies on upon the collection of accurate data for atmospheric modelling. Suggestions that early indications of changes in climate are clearest in the upper atmosphere give new impetus to its investigation.

From Antarctica to Svalbard, from Beijing to Alaska, ATRAD systems have been deployed all over the world for a number of commercial and scientific customers. A large number of systems have been operating uninterrupted and unmanned for over a decade. However, it is not just about the robustness and reliability of our systems. At ATRAD, our focus is on customer service as much as on solid scientific research and state-of-the-art designs. We work with our customers before, during and after design and implementation of a new radar system. In some cases our relationship with our customers span over many years with an impressive track record of customer retention and repeat business.
